In 1961, this wonderfully energetic woman would have nothing less than a place to impart her love and enjoyment for dance. As Mason's first dance studio, Naomi's legacy continues in the lives of her daughter and the teachers who have the privilege of teaching dance!
Our classes are taught by very experienced instructors, many of whom have twenty to thirty five years of experience teaching. We go to great care to craft our curricula so that class instruction ensures proper progression for the dancer in a continuous, planned program year-round. Our nine-month sessions are developed for the goal of providing the continuity dancers need to progress. Each nine-month term concludes with an annual spring recital.
We accept students as young as four, up to adults, beginner through advanced levels. For optimal training, we do limit class sizes.
We encourage students to participate during our summer sessions that run from June through August, and week-long dance intensives.
Our aim is to provide highly technical training in acro/ tumbling, ballet & pointe, jazz & lyrical and tap, together with the family-friendly atmosphere so important to the Cunningham tradition. We have had the joy of watching many of our dancers advance through our ranks into college, parenthood, and now have the excitement of welcoming their children and some grandchildren!

Pre-Professional Ballet Program
New this year, our pre-professional program is perfect for the dancer interested in a ballet/ pointe focus, for a college program, professional aspirations or serious recreation. In training the whole dancer, we utilize a dance curriculum that implements science education with classical technique and performance opportunities.
